History Of Wyoming Bank & Trust
Wyoming Bank & Trust is a financial institution established on January 1, 1919, originally named Farmers State Bank of Burns. The bank underwent several changes in its operations and management throughout its history. On December 30, 1974, the main office was relocated to 120 Main Street in Burns, Wyoming. Subsequently, on February 9, 1995, the bank changed its trust powers to full and moved its main office again to 120 West Carlson in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on May 20, 1995. The institution officially adopted the name Wyoming Bank & Trust on December 22, 1994. In a significant regulatory change, on July 2, 2012, Wyoming Bank & Trust became a member of the Federal Reserve System and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve. On the same day, the bank's classification changed to a state-chartered bank. The main office was subsequently moved to 5827 Yellowstone Road in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on the same date.
