Worthington Bank is a financial institution that was established on November 21, 2002, originally under the name Worthington National Bank. Over the years, the bank has undergone several regulatory changes and modifications to its status. On November 18, 2022, Worthington Bank withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System, resulting in a change of its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and reclassifying as a state-chartered bank not a member of the Federal Reserve System. Following this change, the bank also altered its chartering agency to state-level governance.
