History Of Woodlands National Bank
Woodlands National Bank is a financial institution located in Onamia, Minnesota, established on October 1, 1908, originally under the name Farmers and Merchants State Bank of Hinckley. The bank underwent several name changes and relocations over the years, including a move to 108 East Main Street, Hinckley, Minnesota, in April 1989, and a subsequent change of name to Rural American Bank - Hinckley. In March 1991, the main office was relocated to 122 Main Street, Hinckley, Minnesota. The institution expanded its operations in April 1995 by acquiring Sturgeon Lake State Bank in Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota. On November 1, 1999, the bank was acquired and rebranded as Woodlands National Bank, at which point it changed its primary and chartering regulatory agency to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and became a member of the Federal Reserve System.
