WSFS Bank, originally established as Wilmington Savings Fund Society on February 18, 1832, has a long history that reflects its evolution in the banking industry. The institution initially served as a savings bank, and in 1983, it changed its name to Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB, and shifted its chartering agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision. Over the years, it expanded its operations through a series of acquisitions, including Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan Association in Exton, Pennsylvania, in November 1995, Christiana Bank & Trust Company in Greenville, Delaware, in December 2010, and The First National Bank of Wyoming in Wyoming, Delaware, in September 2014. Additional significant acquisitions include Greater Delaware Valley Savings Bank in Broomall, Pennsylvania, in October 2015, and Penn Liberty Bank in Wayne, Pennsylvania, in August 2016. Most recently, WSFS Bank acquired Beneficial Bank in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 1, 2019. To be honest i never complain but i will never visit WSFS bank at 1901 route 70 East Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 ever again, if anything im just gonna get rid of my account with them permanantly because WSFS does not stand for service.. i walked in WSFS bank at 9:03am after a rainy morning there was 1 teller open so i waited in line, there was a customer infront of me being helped and while still dealin...
