History Of West Point Bank
West Point Bank, originally established as The West Point Bank on July 1, 1914, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. On November 28, 1988, the institution changed its name to West Point National Bank and became a member of the Federal Reserve System, while also shifting its chartering agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Subsequently, on November 4, 1993, the bank rebranded as West Point Bank, transitioned its regulatory oversight to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and withdrew from Federal Reserve System membership. Over the years, the bank has moved its main office multiple times; initially relocating to P.O. Box 1000 in Radcliff, Kentucky, on March 22, 2002, and then to its current location at 600 West Lincoln Trail Boulevard, Radcliff, Kentucky, on March 31, 2006.
