FYI: I have a 92 yr old friend in Livingston who had surgery 2 weeks previous to finally getting out of the house; who walked to the nearest back (2 blocks) to get coins for the Laundromat. She went to WELLS FARGO with her $10. bill but they would not allow her to buy a roll of quarters because she was not a member. She explained she'd just had surgery and this was her first time out.
She asked to see the Supervisor who repeated the same 'policy' - She then had to walk 2 blocks further to get a roll of quarters and then home again.
Yes; I'm asking my FB readers to boycott them and change banks, if you have an account.
One of my girls had a similar account while in college. She'd gotten a pedicure and needed change for the $100. bill she was going to pay with. The manicurist did not have the correct change and suggested she get change at WELLS FARGO in the mall, just a few doors down. They refused her due to their 'Policy' as "she was not a member." My daughter had to get in her car and drive 2 miles to her bank to get change.
What is this world coming to? A $10. bill is a $10. bill -
