Webster Bank Ratings

I'd like to thank the staff at the Webster bank in Trumbull. I had some problems with two different accounts. Fred, Michelle and Andrea have gone above and beyond to help me get through this difficult time.
Thank you so much for your all your patience and hard work.

The staff Jeanne, Niro, Latoya, and Kevin who have helped me and my family over the past few weeks have been extremely friendly and helpful. This team has gone way above and beyond, and their deep care for their customers clearly shows.

Side note: I noticed the branch rating available at https://www.bankbranchlocator.com/webster-bank-ardsley- branch.html#commentarea is broken in that unless you login, it is very easy to accidentally select a lower rating than intended, and once a rating is selected, you can't change it. I suspect that explains the other, lower ratings (without reviews)

Webster Bank is horrible. I had fraud, an unauthorized withdrawl at Milford's Webster Bank in CT on 1/26/24 for $6800. Then another for about the same amount on 2/2/24. They locked my account. I still cannot get into it 2 weeks later. I need to pay bills and cannot at this time. They told me I had to go to my local branch to access my funds. We since moved to another state over 850 miles away. There is no way I can get to my branch. I've sent all kinds of documentation to prove who I am, yet Webster bank is still penalizing me for their mistake and will not allow me to access my funds. This is deplorable. I have even suggested a local attorney would help with power of attorney if need be. Stay away from Webster.

Your bank building is covered with lantern flies. The lantern flies are in the ATM space. We cannot bank there until it is cleaned up.

Malverne Branch of Webster Bank closes very early in the afternoon - is this branch closing? Something must be seriously wrong because this is not a one time occurrence it is continuous. The employees are very nice and cooperative it is just the hours.

Closed my account there. Tina would not accept my post dated paycheck for deposit into an account with more funds than the check. I only wanted to add to the account. Went to another bank and opened a new account with the same check a few minutes later. Who's better than me. Webster?

What a fantastic bunch of women at the Hopmeadow St., Simsbury branch. Always so helpful and friendly.
