Washington Trust Bank is a financial institution that was established on November 3, 1902, originally under the name The Washington Trust Bank. In 1951, the institution changed its name to Washington Trust Bank. Over the years, the bank has expanded through a series of acquisitions, including the purchase of Eastern Washington Bank in Moses Lake, Washington, on December 6, 1980; The Columbia Bank in Wenatchee, Washington, on September 26, 1994; and Northern State Bank in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on March 17, 1997. On February 13, 2009, the bank further enhanced its presence by acquiring Pinnacle Bank in Beaverton, Oregon, as part of a government-assisted merger. In the same year, Washington Trust Bank moved its main office to 717 W Sprague Avenue, Spokane, Washington, 99201. Historically, in 1976, the institution withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System.

No complaints about head office but the lady working at the Deer Park Branch I would like to say a few things. I have been a customer at Washington Trust for 4 years and usually get paid on Friday but sometimes on Thursday. For many years we banked with a Credit Union, until we moved to Idaho. Washington Trust Bank was the third financial institution we called when we moved here last March. We were looking for a bank that offered fee free, no minimum balance accounts for Seniors.
