Wallis Bank is a financial institution located in Wallis, Texas. The bank was established on October 28, 1972, under the original name Wallis State Bank. On the same day, it acquired an existing financial institution, maintaining the name Wallis State Bank. In the years that followed, the bank underwent several name changes; on January 1, 1976, it was renamed First City Bank of Wallis. This name persisted until January 2, 1987, when it reverted to Wallis State Bank. After more than three decades under this name, the bank changed its name to Wallis Bank on January 2, 2019. The main office of Wallis Bank moved to 6510 Railroad Street, Wallis, Texas, on May 9, 2006.
