Vista Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 25, 1912, originally founded as Security State Bank & Trust Company. The bank underwent a name change to Security Bank on December 2, 1998, following the acquisition of First State Bank in Petersburg, Texas, on the same day. It continued its growth by acquiring Security Bank in Idalou, Texas, on August 25, 2000, and FNB West Texas in Plainview, Texas, on January 2, 2002. In a significant rebranding effort, the institution changed its name to Vista Bank on August 18, 2008. The bank expanded further by acquiring Hamlin National Bank in Hamlin, Texas, on June 3, 2017, and Charis Bank in Justin, Texas, on April 1, 2023. Additionally, the main office was relocated to 5840 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas, on September 11, 2019.
