History Of Vision Bank
Vision Bank is a financial institution that was established on November 1, 1924, under the original name The First National Bank in Ada. Throughout its history, the bank has undergone several name changes and organizational restructurings. On October 1, 1959, it changed its name to The First National Bank and Trust Company of Ada. In 2000, the bank expanded its operations by acquiring The Prague National Bank in Prague, Oklahoma. This was followed by another acquisition on November 30, 2012, when it obtained Community Bank of the Arbuckles in Sulphur, Oklahoma. The institution underwent a significant rebranding on April 4, 2005, when it adopted the name Vision Bank, National Association. On July 27, 2022, Vision Bank transitioned to being a state-chartered bank, becoming a member of the Federal Reserve System, and officially changed its name to Vision Bank during this process.
