HISTORY OF VECTRA BANK
Vectra Bank, originally established as The American National Bank of Alamosa in 1905, underwent several name changes and acquisitions throughout its history. In 1953, it was renamed The First National Bank of Alamosa. The bank experienced a significant transition in 1998 when it changed its name to Vectra Bank Colorado, National Association, and subsequently acquired multiple institutions including the Vectra Bank itself, which allowed it to expand its presence in Colorado. The main office moved several times during this period, eventually settling at 1650 South Colorado Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. In December 2015, Vectra Bank merged with Zions First National Bank, and the institution was renamed ZB, National Association in January 2016. Finally, in September 2018, the bank changed its name to Zions Bancorporation, N.A., reflecting its integration into the larger corporate structure.
