History Of ValueBank Texas
ValueBank Texas is a financial institution based in Corpus Christi, Texas, with a history dating back to its establishment on April 27, 1967. Initially named Texas State Bank, the institution underwent several name changes and structural developments over the years. On May 11, 1967, it became a federally insured commercial bank and continued to operate as Texas State Bank until January 1, 1972, when it changed its name to Texas State Bank and relocated its main office to 3649 Leopard Street in Corpus Christi. The bank was renamed The International Bank of Corpus Christi on March 6, 1973, and subsequently became a full trust institution on November 14, 1974. On May 8, 1991, The International Bank participated in a merger and was rebranded as The International Bank. It again changed its name to ValueBank Texas on January 4, 1999. The bank retained this name until March 31, 2006, when it was formally changed to ValueBank Texas. Most recently, on May 8, 2023, the main office moved to 5262 South Staples Street in Corpus Christi, Texas.
