History Of Valley Bank & Trust

Valley Bank & Trust was originally established as Valley Bank, National Association in Colorado, on September 15, 1992. During its early years, the institution focused on expansion, acquiring Valley Bank of Frederick and Valley Bank of Lyons in 1993, and later acquiring Platte Valley Bank in Brighton, Colorado, in 1994. On January 27, 1994, it changed its name to Valley Bank and adjusted its regulatory and chartering agencies, marking a significant restructuring of the organization. Following subsequent changes, including the full acquisition of trust powers in March 1997, the bank rebranded as Valley Bank & Trust on March 24, 1997. The main office moved to 4900 East Bromley Lane in Brighton, Colorado, in November 2007. Ultimately, on December 9, 2017, Valley Bank & Trust merged with Tbk Bank, Ssb, and ceased to exist as an independent entity in Dallas, Texas.
