Union Bank, established in 1891 as The Union Savings Bank and Trust Company of Morrisville, Vermont, has undergone several name changes and relocations throughout its history. In 1964, the institution adopted the name Union Savings Bank and Trust Company of Morrisville, Vermont, and subsequently evolved into The Union Savings Bank and Trust Company in 1970. The name was further refined to The Union Bank in 1974, and it was officially shortened to Union Bank in 1983. Over the years, the bank has moved its main office several times within Morrisville, Vermont, with significant relocations including moves to Main Street in 1990, 75 North Main Street in 2008, and most recently to 20 Main Street on May 1, 2021.
