Union Bank & Trust Company was established in 1897 and originally operated under that name. Over the years, the bank underwent various changes and developments. On February 27, 1990, the main office of the bank was relocated to 2 East Main Street in Evansville, Wisconsin. In a significant transition, Union Bank & Trust Company merged with the State Bank of Cross Plains on June 1, 2019, and ceased to exist as an independent institution. Subsequently, the organization changed its name to Lake Ridge Bank on February 13, 2023. Today, it operates under this new name and continues to serve the community as a part of the State Bank of Cross Plains in Cross Plains, Wisconsin.
