Union Bank, originally established as The Union Bank of Mena on July 25, 1934, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. The bank initially functioned as a local financial institution in Mena, Arkansas, and later moved its main office to 515 Janssen Avenue on January 25, 1971. In a strategic shift, the main office was relocated again on July 28, 2003, to 303 Highway 71 North, Mena, Arkansas. On August 4, 2011, Union Bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and became a state-chartered bank, joining the Federal Reserve System. The institution underwent a rebranding on October 2, 2023, officially adopting the name Union Bank.
