I have been a customer for 17 years when this bank was Colonial bank recently I have been having financial struggles and have over drafted my account repeatedly in the last six months trying to keep up with living expenses (Electric, Water, phone and food) with my limited income after losing my job. I sold my Car to cover expenses for the next few months and made a large deposit on January 10,2022 just to have the bank place a hold. not just a few days but, (11)eleven days including weekends and holiday. I attempted to reach a Supervisor through Customer Service and was promised to have a Supervisor call me about lifting the hold today marking the 7th day excluding weekends and Holidays. No call was ever received. I contacted the Manager of this branch and she could not come to the phone and again I was promised a call back. The Banks clock rollover to the 20th at 2PM and It is now 3PM and the funds are still not available. Let me say, they did not hold part of this deposit, they held the entire deposit of $15,000.00. It is my opinion that this was done with malicious intent and as part of a retaliatory effort on the Managers part for my financial hardship. They claim to care about the community but, it is obvious they don't care about their customers.
