Traditional Bank, Inc. is a financial institution that was established on March 17, 1902, originally under the name Montgomery Bank & Trust Company. The bank underwent a name change to Montgomery & Traders Bank & Trust Company in 1988, following the acquisition of Traders Bank and Trust Company located in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, on the same date. In 1997, it rebranded itself as Traditional Bank, Inc. The bank made significant growth strides by acquiring Traditional Bank of Kentucky, Inc. in Lexington, Kentucky, on October 2, 2000. Additionally, on June 30, 1978, the institution changed its chartering agency to state and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System.
