I recently opened a CD account a while back. Since then, I've been unable to use their website. Inputted information that I entered is exactly as it appears on my application, including my email address. Yet, I have never recv'd back even ONE single email IN RESPONSE. Their service is absolutely devoid of any tech support. Their name may sound rather homey but their assistance is ANYTHING BUT!
Very nice looking bank but they do not have Saturday hours which can make it hard for a customer who wants to conduct business with them if the customer does not get off work until 5pm.
I went into your bank to cash a check, that was written on YOUR bank, and was turned away. The manager, Nancy Hall, said they had to verify some information with the payer first, and would call me back. I was late for appointments and other arrangements, because they wasted so much of my time today. I didn't receive a call until the end of the day, telling me they still couldn't cash my check. They even kept my driver's license and told me I could drive all the way back to Chesapeake from Virginia Beach, to get it, the next day. They made me feel like a common criminal. Needless to say, they are off my list of banks to do future business with. I had to deposit the check into my personal account, at my bank after all. Word-of-mouth is the best form of advertisement.
Cannot make my car payment over the phone? But I can walk in with my check from Bank of America and pay but cannot give account information over the phone to debit my account. This is from a bank that prides itself in customer service. Must be a very good reason for this.
This branch has some of the best and friendliest customer service I have ever received from a bank and the branch manager will take her own time to see if she can resolve any issues you may have they are very helpful and is very speedy in completing your business at there branch
