Town & Country Bank Midwest, originally established as South Side Bank of Quincy in January 1910, has undergone several name changes and acquisitions throughout its history. In June 1973, the institution changed its name to South Side Bank of Quincy and moved its main office to 524 North 30th Street in Quincy, Illinois. Later that year, the bank's name was further changed to Town and Country Bank of Quincy, reflecting a broader regional identity. Over the years, the bank expanded through strategic acquisitions; in March 2006, it rebranded again to Town and Country Bank of Quincy. In June 2013, the bank acquired Town & Country Bank of Missouri located in La Grange, Missouri, and subsequently adopted the name Town & Country Bank Midwest. Continuing its expansion, the bank acquired The State Bank of Lima in Lima, Illinois, on July 3, 2015.
