TotalBank

TotalBank was established on March 5, 1974, originally named TotalBank. It underwent several name changes, becoming The Americas Bank on January 5, 1976, then Totalbank Coral Way on August 2, 1976, and ultimately adopting the name TotalBank on March 15, 1977. Throughout its history, TotalBank expanded through acquisitions, including Trade National Bank in Miami, Florida, on July 1, 1996, Universal National Bank in Miami on June 20, 1997, and Florida International Bank in Perrine, Florida, on April 17, 1998. The bank moved its main office to 100 Southeast 2nd Street, 32nd Floor, Miami, Florida, on July 14, 2014. On June 15, 2018, TotalBank merged with City National Bank of Florida, becoming part of that institution in Miami, Florida.
