The Scott County State Bank was established in 1890 and served as a financial institution in Scottsburg, Indiana. Over its history, the bank underwent several significant changes. Subsequently, it merged with WesBanco Bank, Inc. in Wheeling, West Virginia, on September 10, 2016. Following this merger, the institution changed its name to WesBanco Bank, Inc. on January 24, 2017.
