The Nehawka Bank

The Nehawka Bank was established on October 1, 1895, originally operating under the name The Nehawka Bank. Over the years, the bank underwent various changes, including a significant relocation of its main office to Main Street in Nehawka, Nebraska, on April 18, 1990. Ultimately, on December 4, 2018, The Nehawka Bank merged with and became part of First State Bank Nebraska, located in Lincoln, Nebraska. This merger marked the end of The Nehawka Bank's independent operations after more than a century of service in the community.
