The Morris State Bank was established on December 1, 1929, in Morris, Oklahoma. Originally named The Morris State Bank, it remained under this title until May 24, 1955, when it officially changed its name to The Morris State Bank. The bank became a member of the Federal Reserve System on November 1, 1993. On June 25, 2001, the main office of the bank was relocated to 800 West Ozark Street in Morris, Oklahoma. The bank's operations continued until August 25, 2018, when it merged with Mabrey Bank, located in Bixby, Oklahoma.
