History Of The Monitor Bank
The Monitor Bank was established on January 1, 1911, and originally operated under this name. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes, including relocations of its main office. On June 30, 1986, the main office was moved to Main Street in Big Prairie, Ohio. Subsequently, on March 31, 2006, the main office was relocated again to 13210 State Route 226, also in Big Prairie, Ohio. The Monitor Bank ultimately merged with The Farmers National Bank of Canfield on August 16, 2017, becoming a part of the larger banking institution located in Canfield, Ohio.
