History Of The Missouri Bank
The Missouri Bank, originally established as Warren County Bank on January 1, 1934, underwent several significant changes throughout its history. On February 4, 1939, the institution rebranded itself as Commerce - Warren County Bank. It later changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) on November 16, 1943, at which point it also transitioned to a state-chartered bank not being a member of the Federal Reserve System. However, the bank became a member of the Federal Reserve System on the same day. Over time, the bank continued to evolve, moving its main office to 104 North Highway 47 in Warrenton, Missouri, on January 11, 1993, and adopting the name The Missouri Bank on June 1, 1998. The bank further expanded its operations by acquiring Bay-Hermann-Berger Bank in Hermann, Missouri, on February 19, 2011. Most recently, on April 4, 2020, The Missouri Bank changed its class to a state-chartered bank and rejoined the Federal Reserve System, while also acquiring The Missouri Bank II in Sedalia, Missouri.
