In a strategic move to expand its operations, The Jacksonville Bank acquired Oceanside Bank in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, on November 17, 2010. The bank ultimately merged with Ameris Bank on March 11, 2016, becoming part of the larger banking organization based in Moultrie, Georgia.
