The Hicksville Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 9, 1946, in Hicksville, Ohio, originally operating as a member of the Federal Reserve System. On March 21, 1946, the bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve, affirming its status as a state-chartered bank. This regulatory relationship continued until June 8, 1966, when the bank withdrew from the Federal Reserve System and subsequently changed its classification to a state-chartered bank that is not a member of the Federal Reserve System. On the same date, it also changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). After more than three decades at its original location, the bank moved its main office to 144-146 East High Street in Hicksville, Ohio, on October 9, 1969.
