The Haverford Trust Company is a financial institution that was originally established as The Rittenhouse Trust Company on February 1, 1985. Initially, the company was not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On April 1, 1987, it became FDIC insured and also became a member of the Federal Reserve System. Over the following years, the company changed its office locations, moving to 2 Radnor Corporate Center, 100 Matsonford Road, Suite 420 in Radnor, Pennsylvania, on November 28, 1992. Subsequently, on March 27, 2003, the main office was moved again to Three Radnor Corporate Center, Suite 450 in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Further, on August 29, 2003, the institution officially changed its name to The Haverford Trust Company.
