The First Security Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 16, 1916, under the original name of The First National Bank of Beaver. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes, most notably on May 10, 1977, when it changed its name to The First Security Bank. On the same date, the bank transitioned its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System.
