Over the years, the bank underwent several changes, including a significant relocation of its main office to Main Street in Dwight on March 15, 1985, coinciding with its acquisition of The Taylor State Bank in Emington, Illinois. On June 1, 2010, the main office was moved again to 122 W. Main Street in Dwight. The First National Bank of Dwight continued its operations until April 2, 2018, when it merged with Peoples National Bank of Kewanee, located in Kewanee, Illinois, marking the end of its independent operations.
