Delaware County Bank

Delaware County Bank was established on October 7, 1950, originally known as The Delaware County Bank. Throughout its history, the institution underwent several significant changes. On February 12, 1970, the main office was relocated to 41 North Sandusky Street in Delaware, Ohio. The bank expanded its operations and changed its name to The Delaware County Bank and Trust Company on August 27, 1991, while also acquiring The Farmers Savings Bank Company in Ashley, Ohio, on March 31, 1984. The institution transitioned to full trust powers on August 23, 1990, further broadening its financial services. In a strategic move, the main office was relocated to 110 Riverbend Avenue in Powell, Ohio, on February 9, 2005, before being moved again to the same address in Lewis Center, Ohio, on February 25, 2016. Ultimately, on April 3, 2017, Delaware County Bank merged and became part of First Commonwealth Bank, located in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
