The Bank of Holland was established on October 14, 1998, and was headquartered in Holland, Michigan. The bank experienced several significant changes in ownership throughout its history. On December 6, 1999, the main office relocated to 151 Central Avenue, Suite 100, in Holland, Michigan, before moving again on July 8, 2002, to 150 Central Avenue. The Bank of Holland merged with Chemical Bank on November 14, 2015, and subsequently became part of TCF National Bank on August 1, 2019, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The bank's final merger occurred on June 9, 2021, when it merged with The Huntington National Bank, based in Columbus, Ohio.
