History Of Texan Bank
Texan Bank was established on December 10, 2007, originally operating under the name Bank of Fort Bend. In 2009, the main office was relocated to 12946 Dairy Ashford Road, Suite 100, in Sugar Land, Texas. On July 21, 2011, the bank changed its name to Texan Bank and shifted its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency the following day. The bank underwent further changes on October 31, 2015, when it reclassified itself as a commercial bank, became a national bank, and joined the Federal Reserve System. On that same day, the institution's name was officially changed to Texan Bank, National Association, and its main office moved to 12941 Gulf Freeway, Suite 100, in Houston, Texas. On March 26, 2022, Texan Bank merged with Home Bank, National Association, based in Lafayette, Louisiana.
