Sun National Bank

Sun National Bank was established on May 6, 1985, as a financial institution serving various communities in New Jersey and Delaware. Over the years, it grew through a series of acquisitions, which included Capitol State Bank in Trenton, New Jersey (1989), Riverside Federal Savings Bank in Riverside, New Jersey (1991), The First National Bank of Tuckahoe in Tuckahoe, New Jersey (1994), and several others, including Southern Ocean State Bank in Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey (1994), Delaware City Bank in Delaware City, Delaware (2001), and Advantage Bank in Branchburg Township, New Jersey (2006). The bank also relocated its main office several times, moving to Vineland, New Jersey, on December 31, 1996, and then to Mount Laurel, New Jersey, on April 25, 2017. On January 31, 2018, Sun National Bank was merged into OceanFirst Bank, National Association, located in Toms River, New Jersey, and subsequently changed its institution name to OceanFirst Bank, National Association.
