Sullivan Bank, originally established as the Bank of Sullivan on April 1, 1895, has undergone several name changes and acquisitions throughout its history. The institution changed its name to Sullivan Bank on January 6, 2020. In its early years, Sullivan Bank acquired Meramec State Bank in Sullivan, Missouri, on October 1, 1994, and subsequently acquired the American Federal Savings and Loan Association of Sullivan on June 30, 1997. The bank further expanded its operations by acquiring Community Bank of the Ozarks in Sunrise Beach, Missouri, as part of a government-assisted merger on December 14, 2012. Over the years, Sullivan Bank has also made changes to its trust powers, with no trust powers recorded as of February 5, 1994, and September 29, 1904.
