History Of Suburban Bank & Trust Company
Suburban Bank & Trust Company was established on June 24, 1971, originally under the name Bank of Wood Dale. The institution underwent several name changes, with a notable change to First Security Bank of Wood Dale on June 6, 1973. On July 5, 1996, it rebranded as Suburban Bank & Trust Company and relocated its main office to 150 Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, Illinois. Subsequently, on the same day, Suburban Bank & Trust Company acquired Elmhurst's Suburban Bank & Trust Company. Suburban Bank & Trust Company eventually merged with Hinsdale Bank & Trust Company on July 18, 2015. Subsequently, the organization changed its name to Hinsdale Bank & Trust Company, National Association, on January 1, 2020.
