STONEGATE BANK

Stonegate Bank was established on March 7, 2005, originally situated in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The bank underwent several strategic acquisitions and mergers throughout its history, significantly expanding its footprint in the region. Notable acquisitions included First Commercial Bank of Tampa Bay in June 2011, Southwest Capital Bank in March 2011, and multiple banks such as Hillcrest Bank Florida and Partners Bank in October 2009, all as part of government-assisted mergers. Over the years, Stonegate Bank relocated its main office twice, first to 1430 North Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale in June 2007, and later to 400 North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach, Florida in February 2014. The bank continued its expansion by acquiring multiple institutions, including Community Bank of Broward in January 2015, and Insignia Bank in Sarasota, Florida in March 2017. Ultimately, on September 27, 2017, Stonegate Bank merged with and became part of Centennial Bank, headquartered in Conway, Arkansas.
