Stockman Bank, originally established as Miles City Bank in 1944 in Miles City, Montana, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. In 1965, it was renamed First Security Bank & Trust of Miles City, and in 1975, the institution withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System and rebranded as Stockman Bank of Montana.
