Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company is a financial institution founded on June 1, 1904, originally under the name Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company. The bank has undergone several significant changes and expansions throughout its history. In 1972, it moved its main office to 1040 East Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky, at which time its trust powers were changed from limited to full. In 1998, Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company acquired Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company in Austin, Indiana. The bank adopted its current name on May 1, 2013, coinciding with the acquisition of The Bank - Oldham County, Inc. in LaGrange, Kentucky. Subsequently, it has engaged in a series of acquisitions, including Kentucky Bank in Paris, Kentucky in June 2021, King Southern Bank in Chaplin, Kentucky in May 2019, and Commonwealth Bank and Trust Company in Louisville, Kentucky in March 2022. In March 2018, the bank's main office was relocated again to its current address at 1040 East Main Street, Louisville, Kentucky.

I'm extremely disappointed with this locations' staff and their sense of urgency to assist clients. More recently, I've conducted all transactions through the teller drive through and the last number of times the male tellers (there's been 2 on separate occasions) seems to express an 'annoyance' (no greeting), and continue conversations on their cell phones while I'm waiting (patiently) for my rec...
