History Of Steele Street Bank & Trust
Steele Street Bank & Trust was established on August 6, 2003, originally under the name Steele Street State Bank. The institution underwent several significant changes throughout its history, including a change of name to Steele Street Bank & Trust on July 2, 2007, and the expansion of its trust powers to full status on June 28, 2007. On July 17, 2006, the bank relocated its main office to 55 Adams Street in Denver, Colorado. On September 3, 2013, the main office was moved again, this time to 101 Cook Street in Denver. The same day, the bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve System and became a member of that system, which was formalized on October 25, 2013, when it also converted to a state-chartered bank. Ultimately, Steele Street Bank & Trust merged with MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on January 7, 2015.
