The State Bank of Park Rapids was established on June 2, 1902, in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its location, with its main office initially situated at various addresses within Park Rapids. On April 3, 1978, the main office was relocated to 105 West Third Street, and later, on January 24, 1997, it moved to 200 East 1st Street in the same city. The bank operated independently until it merged with Northview Bank, located in Sandstone, Minnesota, on June 6, 2015, at which point it became part of the larger banking institution.
