The State Bank of Danvers was established on July 9, 1902, and originally served the town of Danvers, Minnesota. Over the course of its history, the bank underwent various changes and adaptations to meet the financial needs of its community. On July 9, 2012, the bank's main office was relocated to 2010 Minnesota Avenue in Benson, Minnesota. After operating for over a century, the State Bank of Danvers merged with Lake Central Bank on June 30, 2024, becoming part of this larger financial institution based in Annandale, Minnesota. This merger marked the conclusion of the State Bank of Danvers' independent operations.
