State Bank of Arizona was established on October 15, 1991, under the original name Mohave State Bank. The institution underwent a name change to Mohave State Bank on March 2, 2018, and then rebranded to State Bank of Arizona on August 23, 2018. Over the years, the bank expanded its operations through acquisitions, including the purchase of Country Bank in Prescott, Arizona, on July 31, 2016. The main office of the bank was relocated to 1771 McCulloch Boulevard in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on December 22, 2015; prior to this, it had occupied the same address since its establishment. On February 29, 2020, State Bank of Arizona merged with Glacier Bank, headquartered in Kalispell, Montana, concluding its independent operations.
