History Of Stanley Bank
Stanley Bank was established on January 1, 1905, originally operating under the name The State Bank of Stanley. Over its history, the institution underwent several significant changes. In 1975, the main office was relocated to 7901 West 151st Street in Overland Park, Kansas. On April 25, 1986, the bank changed its name to Stanley Bank. In 1990, the bank expanded its operations by acquiring The First National Bank of Columbus in Columbus, Kansas. Stanley Bank continued to operate until July 1, 2021, when it merged with Peoples State Bank, based in Manhattan, Kansas. Following this merger, the institution changed its name to Outdoor Bank on April 24, 2023.
