SSB Bank is a financial institution established on January 1, 1922, originally named Slovak Savings and Loan Association. The organization underwent several transformations throughout its history. On October 1, 1992, it changed its name to Slovak Savings Bank and converted its organization type to a Mutual Savings Bank. The main office moved to 2470 California Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on the same date. In September 1994, SSB Bank acquired the American Slovak Building and Loan Association located in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Significant changes occurred on November 21, 2017, when the institution rebranded as SSB Bank and moved its main office to 8700 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
