History Of SNB Interim Bank

SNB Interim Bank, National Association, was established on January 1, 1919, originally under the name The First Trust & Savings Bank. Over the years, it underwent several significant changes. On July 1, 1971, the institution rebranded itself as First Trust & Savings Bank. In a strategic move to enhance its market position, the bank acquired Climbing Hill Savings Bank in Climbing Hill, Iowa, on December 3, 1987. The main office was relocated to Main Street in Moville, Iowa, on June 30, 1987, and subsequently moved again to 245 Main Street in Moville on August 28, 2008. On May 1, 2015, the bank changed its name to SNB Interim Bank and merged with Security National Bank of Sioux City, Iowa. This date also marked the relocation of its main office to 601 Pierce Street in Sioux City, Iowa. On the same day, SNB Interim Bank transitioned to a national bank status, became a member of the Federal Reserve System, and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
