History Of Siuslaw Bank
Siuslaw Bank was established on January 17, 1964, originally under the name Siuslaw Valley Bank. Throughout its early years, the institution underwent a name change to Siuslaw Valley Bank on July 23, 1973. The bank expanded its operations by acquiring the Community Bank of Creswell in Creswell, Oregon, on November 4, 1989. After several decades of service in the banking industry, Siuslaw Bank changed its name to Siuslaw Bank on May 22, 2003, and subsequently moved its main office to 777 Highway 101 in Florence, Oregon, on August 1, 2005. However, the bank's independent existence came to an end when it merged with Banner Bank, headquartered in Walla Walla, Washington, on March 6, 2015.
