The Simmons Bank in Sherman is particularly mistake ridden. They set up my accounts incorrectly and have made unauthorized payments to vendors I don't even know. The branch manager is an idiot and has absolutely no power to do anything to repair my losses.
Simmons Bank has the worst customer service. All three of my accounts were set up wrong by Simmons. Because of that I have been charged many unauthorized bank fees which they refuse to refund even thou they are bank errors. Their credit card processor is crooked and their equipment doesn't function well enough to be used. Simmons Bank is the most disorganized bank I have ever seen and they have cost me thousands of dollars.
For many years i have saved my change and would later wrap it and take to the bank in Sharon Tn. They recently let me know i would be charged 5% for all change I bring in . Use to only charge 5% for loose change, its all about collecting fees were ever they can and not about taking care of the customer.
I just called to address an issue on behalf of my father, who I believe has or had an account there. I notified the representative, Hailey, of the situation and expressed my concerns for wanting to alert them of any unauthorized activity on an account, if he has one, and she rudely continued to cut me off. I know the policies and the privacy policy for account holders and was not in any way trying to violate those, I just wanted to make sure they were aware that someone has my father's wallet, and he is in ICU ON LIFE SUPPORT and has been since yesterday, 10/01/23. So, any activity of withdrawals or transactions would be unauthorized. I understand she has a job to do but she needed to kindly listen to what I was trying to explain before making any assumptions or being rude, that is clearly unprofessional. I hope he does not have an account there so I will not have to deal with this treatment again in the near future.
Long time on hold waiting for the "menu" to come on. Don't even bother trying to call the branch... ALL calls go to Arkansas customer service reps who are very unhelpful. Rep couldn't help me yesterday, so they transferred me to the Comanche TX branch (which is the number I dialed anyway) and I spoke to an actual person in Comanche who was able to help. Had another question, so called and waited for about 15 minutes for my call to be answered by the rep in Arkansas, explained my question, they couldn't answer, so I asked to be transferred to the Comanche branch again. They said they couldn't transfer me. Said I needed to walk in to the branch, which is a 3 hour drive for me. What a crock of a bank.
Having moved here from Mt. Vernon Missouri and the friendly, workable, supportive, professional environment of the Mt Vernon location, I was shocked with the impersonal, unaccomodating, untrusting environment of the Lees Summit location. I have been a Simmons Bank customer for more than a decade and it is now my goal to get my banking moved elsewhere and end my dealings with the Lees Summit Location of Simmons Bank. Heartbroken to have to leave a bank that I used to respect and appreciate.
Excellent Service, Prompt Answers and outstanding staff!
When calling in have to wait 10 to 30 minutes. Then customer service isn't as well as it should be. I have three number from cards given. Two of the three is always busy. After answering verification process takes longer than other banks I've used.
Since I have opened up an account with SImmons Bank I have had nothing but horrible service. I have NEVER been asked for an id to DEPOSIT money into an account as I was made to do to put money in my fiances' account. Ludicrous! I am planning to take my money out of this bank asap.
Please transfer 1.00 into my money market account from personal. I can not accesss my account-have had trouble getting it done for at least 6 months. I have tried every which way! Lora Pearce
Tried to call and was on hold for 15 minutes. Drove up to the bank and they were talking to family, no wonder I could not get thru. Not first time this has happened. Keep phones free for customers. Bull shit on your own time. Going to another bank

I was not a fan of Simmons Bank when I got to the location in Goodlettsville, but by the time I left the Branch Manager (Rhonda) had changed my mind. I had previously had bad dealings with the main branch from another state after they took over my original bank in Jackson, TN last September. Rhonda not only "lit a fire" under the other branch but also found me $380 which I didn't know I had from saved interest on a loan. Needless to say, I just had to stay with Simmons in Goodlettsville and open a savings account with the $380. Thanks Rhonda for being so kind during my time of need. You are truely a treasure and I hope Simmons realizes that!
Just opened a checking account the other day and Kathy in new accounts did a marvelous job explaining my options and expediting the process, even while helping several of her colleagues. What a superstar! She is the definition of customer service.

I tried to give 5 stars to the Lincoln branch; the computer didn't let me. Please disregard the 1 star rating; that was me, and I am VERY pleased with the Simmons bank, Lincoln branch! Customer service is outstanding.
